Traps and Hazards are extremely common for adventurers, usually created or primed to hide or protect something important or special. Traps or Hazards can be considered anything that hinders the progress of an adventurer, however, there is a strong distinction to be made with a trap and a hazard. Traps need to be primed to be used, while Hazards do not need to be primed. Traps are typically more intentional ways of protecting or hiding things, whilst Hazards are either less intentional or are done so using a force of the environment. While Traps and Hazards are known to deal damage, not every trap or hazard typically does deal damage, and more of them usually hinder the progress of the adventurer.

Traps and Hazards can be dealt with in multiple ways, typically by avoiding the obstacle. Each trap has its own way of being dealt with typically listed in section that it is located.
